A. ​Online submission and review process 

      

     Since August, 2010, Chinese Journal of Psychology has adopted online submission

     and review process (​Online Submission and Review System).

​

     ( 1 ) Author must sign in the system then submit the manuscript in PDF file. In addition,

            author should attach a letter to editor included:

             a. assurance that the research conforms to publication ethics,

             b. consent to publish by all the authors,

             c. reviewer(s) who should be avoided in this peer review for reasons,

             d. anything to inform to editor-in-chief

            

       ( 2 ) After submitting the manuscript, researcher would get a manuscript number, and

              receive a confirmation email.

       ( 3 )  The first phase of the review is the format examination, which is based on

               Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.). Papers

               qualified for the format shall proceed to the formal review procedures, or it will be

               returned without review. Please revise it before resubmitting.

​

       ( 4 ) Editor-in-chief assigns one associate editor to be responsible for the manuscript,

               and associate editor shall select two reviewers to conduct the "double-blind review"

               within one month.

​

       ( 5 ) According to the judges of the reviewers, editor will decide whether to accept, accept

              with revision, revise and resubmit, or reject.

​

       ( 6 ) If the recommendation between two reviewers are divergent, the third judge for

               addition review will be taken into consideration by editor. The editor would

               ultimately decides whether to accept or reject the article. 

​

       ( 7 ) Author can sign in the system to download the review comment, and send revised

              version within one month. If the author needs time extension, he/she should email to

              the editor. 

​

       ( 8 ) Once the manuscript is accepted, author will receive a acceptance letter. Please

               email the final version in MS word file to editorial office for typesetting. The format

               should follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association

               (6th ed.). 

​

       ( 9 ) The journal is published by Airiti. Inc editorial office. They will email to author for 

               proofreading. Editor-in-chief and executive secretary will make the final check

               before the journal is published.

 

B. ​Submission and review process of special issue

​

     The submission and review process of special issue is the same as general submission and      review process. Authors should submit the manuscript through online submission and

     review system, and the manuscript would be adopted an anonymous review process.
